for the Reel Teens Festival in Hunter New York
Directions:
By car (from the south)
New York State Thruway north to exit 20, Saugerties. Get off, go to traffic light, make a left. Take the road to the next traffic light, Route 32 and make a right. There is a Hess Gas Station on the left. Take Route 32 until it splits into Route 32A and 32. There is a blinking traffic light at the split. Route 32 goes to the right. Route 32A continues straight ahead. Go straight ahead onto route 32A. Do not go to the right. You will drive through Pallenville. Keep on this road which changes to Route 23A as you go up the mountain. At the top drive through Haines Falls, then Tannersville, then Hunter. Pass the entrance to the Hunter Ski Resort on the left. Continue straight. The movie theater is on the left at the end of the village. If you get to Route 296, you passed it. Turn around and go back.
By car (from the north)
New York State Thruway south to exit 21, Catskill. Get off, go to traffic light and make a left. The first right is Route 23 toward Cairo and Windham. Take Route 23 all the way past Cairo to a sign welcoming you to Windham. Route 296 is on your left. Make a left onto Route 296 (do not go into the village of Windham). Take Route 296 through the village of Hensonville. At the end of the village Route 296 makes a right. Follow Route 296 down the mountain until you come to Route 23A in Hunter. Make a left onto Route 23A. The movie theater is on the right less then a mile down the road.
By bus from NYC: Adirondack Trailways from Port Authority (8th Ave and 40 Street)
